My daughter has had a great experience at American under Coach Harper. She is creative, positive and highly motivating to the players. We have so enjoyed being around the team, staff, and program. Looking forward to next season already!

I agree with the the previous comment regarding the energy and excitement Marsha brings to the AU Soccer program! She frequently goes above and beyond to motivate the team and provide opportunities for student-athletes to grow as confident young women both on and off the field. The team is playing better soccer and bringing in talent that matches the enthusiasm and work rate that Marsha exemplifies. Can’t wait to see what this program can do!

Marsha is one of the most passionate coaches I’ve ever experienced. She is highly motivated to be successful and works tirelessly to provide the best experience for her student-athletes, both on and off the field. From the moment she stepped on campus she increased the energy and standards for the program all while boosting off-the-field experiences like team bonding, new equipment/updated locker room, team meals, fundraising for team travel, etc. The most successful players in her program are the ones who match her energy, work rate, and have a team-first mentality. Future is bright for AU!

I started out with an excitement and eagerness to work hard on and off the field at this great academic school in a great location. The soccer program fell short immediately. Coach Marsha and her assistant coaches are inexperienced but push hard to the point of injuries without actual improvement in performance. They are not approachable, not honest, and frankly act like teenagers who were given a job well beyond their capacity. Money rules at this school, so unless your parents are willing to dole out thousands of dollars to the soccer program, you will be persona non grata on the team.
